The four exhibition projects presented at Polish art institutions between 2017 and 2019 were not conceived by the artist as a consistent cycle, resulted rather from his various personal explorations and inspirations. They are all brought together by a unique easterly perspective of much broader historical processes taking place across the world, the East as such interpreted as a symbolical and positively approached province rather than a geographical location in Poland or Europe. Two Sunrises or More bears characteristics of picaresque tales, wherein representations of the world turned on its head are supposed to provide a deeper understanding thereof, and offer the possibility to discover the beauty of its diversity and imperfections.
