Faces is 'a sketchbook'. It is a series of masks, counting approximately 150 pieces and still growing. I use pulp, paper, and lotus leaves to create sketches/masks/human portraits. Each looks different, its creation process limited to a bare minimum. The steadily growing series is my sketchbook of human faces; characters, grimaces, facial expressions.

Masks made from lotus leaves undergo a process of disintegration. They crumble and crack; they work with the passage of time and with the progression of their mechanical damage. They are very fragile and delicate.
